What a year its been! And to think we thought last year was entertaining…

2021 has been a year of growth for Team SK, lots of training, and putting down stronger building blocks in our training.
Bringing on young horses, and building confidence in the older ones.
Our competition year got off to a slow start due to lockdown, but then was off with a bang and we competed non stop the rest of the year

During the beginning of the year, all the horses had plenty of outings to training dressage days to build the confidence of the ones that are a bit show wary and to give the riders some nice non pressure outings, as everyone was a bit rusty.

Some nice results over the year included Stephanie achieving her Honours blazer for her Inter school achievements over the years. She has competed at Medium level this year, and Level 7 Prix Caprilli. Representing Gauteng Central for Dressage, showjumping and Prix Caprilli.
Her two beautiful horses Saxony and Gracia stepping up to the challenge and helping her to achieve this long awaited goal
.
Saphyr and I have had an excellent year of cementing ourselves in the Small Tour, with our training growing daily.
Also with excellent results at Derby and HOY winning a Supreme title this year and a Reserve Supreme
Quietly jumping a bit on the side at a few shows and enjoying ourselves

Michelle has taken up the challenge of a young 4 yr old from HHCU and is having a blast, with some super results at the Champagne tour. Winning a prelim class, against a large pool and jumping consistent double clears. At his last show he moved up to 80cm and did us proud with a double clear. Showing a good honest temperament and super rideability.

Jen, Presto and Wolly have learnt exponentially this year, and their partnerships are growing stronger every day.

We welcomed some new faces this year, which is always exciting. May everyone grow from strength to strength in the coming year

2022 will be a year for #TeamSK to continue to expand, and also a time to push us all a bit out of our comfort zones
Can’t wait, should be super exciting!

May everyone have a restful end to 2021, and be ready to take on 2022!
